Madonna’s 10th Worldwide Concert Tour

Madonna will launch her tenth worldwide concert tour this August. Her Rebel Heart tour promises to be her most expensive tour. It’s been thirty years since Madonna’s first concert tour, The Virgin Tour, and Madonna promises a big production showcasing her newest album and performing plenty of the songs she’s made over the years.

Always provocative and always reinventing herself to stay current in pop culture, Madonna’s 2015 tour will provide entertainment for her fans. The tour starts in Miami on August 29 and wraps up in Glasgow, Scotland on December 20. The tour will take her through North America through October 27 before heading to Europe November 4. She may extend her tour through Asia and Australia.

Madonna’s album Rebel Heart was released in early March by Interscope Records and early released songs from the album quickly soared up the Billboard charts. The song Living For Love has placed number one on the chart. Typical of Madonna, the album contains a clever mix of pop music. It features nineteen songs. Songs like Living For Love and Unapologetic Bitch are classic Madonna disco tunes. Devil Pray, Ghost Town and Joan of Arc are lyrical ballads. The album is filled with songs full of rebellion and songs that are romantic and introspective. Kayne West collaborated on four songs. Swedish DJ/producer Avicii, American producer/song writer Toby Gad also collaborated on the album. Songs feature the voices of Nas, Nicki Minaj and even Mike Tyson.

The Rebel Heart Tour will certainly be full of dramatic performances and will surely have many back up dancers. Madonna has always been a great performer. Her many costumes will be overseen by her long time collaborator, Arienne Phillips and are sure to feature her favorite designers, John Paul Gaultier who created Madonna’s famous pink coned corset for her 1990 Ambition World Tour, Dolce and Gabbana, Jeremy Scott, Prada and of course her own Truth or Dare lingerie line. One thing Madonna has said of her costumes is that they may not feature a long cape. She famously tripped and fell down stairs while performing for the British Brits awards show in February when her cape failed to untie.

The stage is typically designed as a reflection of Madonna’s provocative and dramatic nature. It features a cross-shaped runway with a heart shaped platform at its end. Her performance is sure to take concert goers through an enjoyable and exciting show. Although the average ticket prices can be close to $100, true fans will want to enjoy her spectacular performance in the Rebel Heart tour. Tickets to some shows have already sold out since her March 1 tour announcement.
